Hebei Lijiang Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

Founded in April 2014 with a registered capital of RMB 52 million, the company occupies a planned area of 267 mu in the New Materials Demonstration Park of the High-tech Industrial Park of Wei County, Hebei Province, with a total investment of RMB 510 million. It is a council member of the Ion Exchange Resin Branch of the China Membrane Industry Association.

The overall plan is completed in two phases. Phase I is fully completed and in operation: one multi-purpose workshop with 42 functional ion exchange resin production lines (annual output 16,800 t, production capacity 30,000 t), one wastewater treatment plant handling 403,000 t/year, and one medical-grade magnesium sulfate workshop with an annual output of 5,000 t. Trial production started in July 2016 and full production in January 2017. Phase II — a 6,000 t/year specialty anion exchange resin workshop — has been retrofitted and commissioned, and the hemoperfusion device workshop was scheduled to break ground in October 2018.

The company is dedicated to producing high-quality industrial-, food-, pharmaceutical- and nuclear-grade resins, applied in water pollution control, high-purity water treatment, extraction of Chinese and Western medicines, hemoperfusion, modern agriculture, nano-coating of new materials and extraction of rare and precious metals. The production base is ISO 9001 certified, and the company is one of the largest resin manufacturers in China with one of the most complete product portfolios, selling well domestically and exporting to Europe, the Americas, Japan, Russia and Southeast Asia.

Adhering to a development strategy that combines production, learning and research, the company has built an efficient and innovative R&D team. Prof. Shi Zuoqing of the Chemistry Department of Nankai University, member of the national chemistry academic committee, serves as Honorary Chairman and Chief Technical Advisor. Technical exchange and cooperation with Nankai University, Nanjing University, USTC and other institutions has led to joint synthesis, product evaluation, application and life-science laboratories — a broad technical foundation and a constant source of innovation.

The company now hosts one of the largest ion exchange resin engineering technology research centers in North China. As a Hebei high-tech enterprise, intellectual-introduction workstation, Xingtai high-level talent entrepreneurship base and Wei County innovation incubator, it attracts leading scientists from the ion exchange resin and medical device industries, safeguarding technology application and development.
